Wayland’s small classroom, rigorous academics and a faith-based environment provide students with the skills needed to succeed.  Each preview day is filled with campus tours, visits with faculty and information sessions on Admissions, Financial Aid and Housing.  Come see first-hand what Wayland has to offer.

Scholars Day : Friday, October 14

Wayland's Freshman Orientation

Gold Rush is Wayland’s fall preview event. It’s packed full of information and opportunities for high school juniors and seniors, transfer students, and their families.

We're hosting the event on Saturday, November 12th. Join us beginning that morning for breakfast, tours, entertainment, info sessions and engaging with key members of the Wayland community in addition to scholarship drawings, auditions and tryouts.

Registration Fee
The registration fee for this event is $20 for each student and each family-member in attendance. It covers the cost for all meals, t-shirts, and admission to sporting events. The fee is paid at check-in (no payment in advance please). Additional Gold Rush t-shirts are available at $10 per shirt.

Potential Benefit
All high school seniors and transfers who apply to Wayland during Gold Rush will have their $35 application fee waived.

BIG WEEKEND is an excellent way for you -- as a high school or transfer student -- and your family to to learn all about our university and the #WaylandPioneerFamily!
 
Our annual spring preview event gives you the chance to sit-in on classesmeet professors and administratorsinterview for scholarshipsapply for admission (with having your application fee waivedand financial aidsecure housingtry-out for athletic teamsaudition for music and fine arts opportunities and learn all about the WBU Pioneer spirit!
 
Not only that but if you've already been admitted for the Fall 2017 semester (as an incoming freshman or transfer student), you will be able to register for fall courses... even before current WBU students are able to do so!
 
We're hosting BIG WEEKEND on Friday and Saturday, March 24-25Come for just Friday or Saturday, or stay the entire weekend.
Registration Fee

BIG WEEKEND participants may stay overnight at one of Plainview's local hotels. Housing for the event is not available on-campus. When booking your room, please ask for the discount associated with WBU event participants. Hotel space is limited so please make your reservations soon!
