Barlow girl headlines big weekend concert at Wayland

PLAINVIEW – Wayland Baptist University welcomes Christian recording artist Barlow Girl to Harral Memorial Auditorium in concert Friday, March 26 at 7 p.m. Barlow Girl will be performing, along with the groups Stellar Kart and Vota.

              Tickets for the event are $10 for general admission. VIP tickets are being sold for $15 and include a special pre-concert time to meet the bands. VIP passes are limited. Tickets are available at the WBU bookstore as well and Mardel and Lifeway stores in Lubbock and the Lifeway store in Amarillo.

              Barlow Girl, a trio of sisters, released a self-titled first CD in 2004 and is now celebrating the most recent CD, Love and War. The group has been nominated for 10 Dove Awards and recorded the Radio & Records Christian Song of the Year in 2004 with “Never Alone.” Their hit “I Need You to Love Me” holds the record as the longest running No. 1 single in Christian Radio Weekly Chart history after holding the top spot for 13 weeks.

              Barlow Girl will be joined by Stellar Kart, an all-male quartet that just released their latest CD Everything is Different Now, and Vota, a group formerly known as Casting Pearls.
