career expo on tap for students, community

PLAINVIEW – Wayland Baptist University will host its annual Career Expo on Thursday, March 24, for those seeking jobs.

              The event will be held in the Pete and Nelda Laney Student Activity Center, located at 7th and Utica Street, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The general public is welcome to participate as well as Wayland students and pending graduates.

              Various business and school districts will be attending the expo to take resumes, answer questions and advertise positions available. Participants should come dressed in business attire, bring multiple copies of their resume, and be prepared for an interview. Mock interviews will also be available to help job seekers of all ages prepare for the competitive job market.
