WBU theatre presents The Good Doctor

PLAINVIEW – The Wayland Baptist University theatre department will present The Good Doctor this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Wayland’s Black Box theatre located in the Harral Arts Complex.

In the play, a narrator guides the audience through several vignettes featuring stories of Russian eccentrics, including a performance artist who stages his own drowning for a fee, a “frail” housewife who plunges a Moscow bank into utter chaos, and two military experts who fight a battle entirely through the planning of their lunch menu.

The show is directed by WBU alum Cory Norman and will be presented in conjunction with Wayland’s homecoming celebration. The play start Josh Walters as the narrator with Zachary Fisher, Ryan Hernandez, Haley Bonner and Tammy Brooks taking on the characters in Chekhov’s stories.
